How much does video production cost in Charlotte?
It depends on scope. A local shoot day with our crew typically runs $1,500 to $2,500, depending on pre-production. Strategy, editing, 3D and VFX are quoted per project, and we book full shoot days only. You get a clear number after the discovery call, before anything is scheduled.
What happens on the discovery call?
We ask about your business, your customers and your goals, then recommend what kind of video makes sense, if any. No pressure and no sales script.
I’m not comfortable on camera. Can you still help?
Yes. On-camera coaching is part of every shoot. We guide your delivery, give you lines that sound natural and keep rolling until you are happy with it.
Do you only work in Charlotte?
We film in Charlotte and within about a 90-minute drive, including Concord, Huntersville, Mooresville, Gastonia, Rock Hill and Fort Mill. 3D animation and VFX are delivered remotely to clients nationwide.
Can you make video for us every month?
Yes. Many clients work with us as an ongoing monthly partner, so their content stays consistent and each round builds on what the data showed last time.
Is video production tax deductible?
Video made to market your business is generally treated as an advertising expense. Check with your accountant for your specific situation.
Who is behind Two Door FX?
Two Door FX, also known as Two Door Productions, was founded in 2004 by Diego Torroija, a Hollywood-trained director of photography, VFX supervisor and FAA Part 107 drone pilot. He leads a Charlotte team of directors, producers and sound crew.
